Hans Georg Leiendecker found inspiration for this series of pictures in
“Canticle of the Sun” by Francis of Assisi. This is a prayer of thanksgiving for God’s
wonderful creation.
In this lecture, Leiendecker talks about his own experiences
with God, Christ, Mother Earth and the elements. This "thanks to the
Creator" is shown in all images of the "Song of the Sun". They are
Gratitude and love, which are especially evident in the “little things” -
and the power to bring about change for the better and our lives
can enrich significantly.
